Spring Skills Cycling Coaching
Have you always wanted to know what gear you should be in to tackle a steep hill? Or where to put your weight when going round a corner? Or maybe you just want to be able to take a drink from your water bottle while cycling along?
Well join us for our Spring Skills this April, our qualified cycling coaches will take you right back to basics and get you feeling confident for a summer spent on two wheels. (all coaching is mountain bike based). These sessions are aimed at beginners, so don’t be scared to join us, even if you can’t tell your back wheel from your front!
Spring Skills consist of two 1hr 30 sessions, the cost is £30 for the full programme, it is highly recommended that you attend both sessions to see the biggest improvement. All sessions will link in to each other.
So what do you need?
- A sense of humor!
- A safe, working, mountain bike.
- A helmet and gloves.
- Sensible and durable clothing, particularly footwear (no flimsy shoes)
- To be over 18
What will I learn/do?
- How to complete a basic bike safety check.
- Improve your balance and stability on the bike
- Bike Body Positioning
- How to effectively use your gears
- Basic Cornering Techniques
- Meet some awesome people and have a great time!
- Any other issues / questions that crop up during the sessions.
All coaching sessions take place 5 miles from Aviemore unless other wise stated. Full details will be provided upon booking. Booking link below.
