Missing in action!!

Sorry guys/gals, your blogger has been too busy biking and building bikes to write of late………. Hopefully the spectacular weather will return, all the local trails have been in fantastic condition recently, and combined with the extra hour we have all been making the most of it. One boy who is hoping to make the most of it over the next few weeks is Saturday boy Bruce as he took delivery of his new 2012 Saracen Mantra Expert this week - built to rock the fastest SingleTrack....look out for his review over the next couple of weeks.

All the lovely weather has brought many a tight fitting lycra outfit out of the closet! Some tighter than last year. Last week saw the first run of the season for Cairngorm Cycling Club, with over 30 hitting the road to Achlean. The 1^st few 30limit sprints provided many hearts with a jump start. Rob (Cav) Edmonds showed he had lost none of his awesome power, allied to his Specialized Venge  proved unstoppable, (except when Hamish starts a sprint to the glider field without telling anyone!!).

All the old faces were present and correct, with many new members joining.

29ers a go go

As Specalized only 29er test centre north of Glasgow, we have seen the huge swell in popularity of 29ers, even our shop staff have been seduced by the stability, comfort, speed and trail ability of the 29er. Of late all World Cup XC races have been dominated by 29 inch wheels, so its time to speak to us, if you are looking to change your mountain bike the come in and try one. Mike is competing  in the Corrieyairack  this year and has chosen the Merida 29er as the ideal bike.

Jenny has been out testing the Ladies Specialized Jett 29er and on one occasion in glorious sunshine so decided to do the Sluggan Pass in both directions in the one evening…..
