HARO BIKES

Well it has been a long spell, Mikes last bike ride was on a snowy November nite, apart from one Kincraig loop in January, Dougies last was October (aside from a foolish mountain bike session in December), Jenny gave up in September.

Most of you are keen to get out as our repairs & orders are building despite the conditions, with a very hardy group still commuting to work over surprisingly long distances. We have been busy at the bikes shows (someone has to do it!). We have seen the new ranges from Diamondback, Raleigh, Ridley, Dawes, Corratec & Merida. Standouts from the shows were:

• Team Ashton Diamondback professional trials range, Mikes Bikes will shortly have the Martyn Ashton signature bike / frame.
• Diamondback budget Mountain bike, the Peak HD (Hydraulic Discs at £449.99)
• Raleigh team Professional Avanti bike at £3500, issued to the newly formed professional team.
• The Corratec Dolomiti Road bike (tiagra or 105) ££899-£1050.
• Merida Road Race 880  Sportif @ £499.99!! with a triple chainset
• The whole Raleigh Road Range, starting at £499.99 with a carbon fork, unbelieviable quality & value.

 In addition we met trial legend Martyn Ashton & dirt jump champ Sam Pilgrim, at the Diamondback show, and Martyn announced that his favourite place in the world is "the highlands"!!!

Sale

We dont do all year sales, we only do real sales, we will have a two day (Friday/saturday) sale with awesome bargains late Feb watch this space.

Full suss

As Mike fancies him self as a useful downhiller (with Neil only other one in the shop who does Ayers Rock!), we will be stocking a range of Full suss bikes from Diamondback (Top of the range XSL Elite), Corratec & Merida, these will be available in April. with demos.

Demos

This year we will be running a range of demos, so dont be shy, we will charge a day hire rate (refunded if any bike is purchased). These will include  two quality female specific Mountain bikes from Diamondback, & Corratec.

Road bikes for hire 

We will be offering Raleigh 100 (2010) road bikes for hire this year with full Shimano running gear, carbon forks, Airlite frame, and FSA kit, in addition to our MTB range. Thinking of buying a Road Bike or trying one then try before you buy!!!

With mid term almost upon us its time to get the bike out of the shed, watch this space for exciting events soon!!
