Fantastic. the route was hard going and is not recommended for a novice or the totally unfit. it does however provide some excellent biking through great scenery with a very friendly organizing/helper team. at the conclusion of the event there was soup and sandwiches laid on and a small bottle of Balvenie whiskey as a memento. whiskey was also available at the finish to help mend tired limbs. there was no entry fee but those that enter are expected to raise some sponsorship for Cancer Research. the day was made more memorable by the kind and hospitable team of organisers who were genuinely grateful for you slogging your guts out to raise money for Cancer Research. would recommend the event to anyone, the more the merrier. ![]() Olympic Gold Medallist Nicole Cooke
