The 2012 Winter Team @ Mikes Bikes Mike Mike is the eponymous "Mike" of Mikes Bikes. Steeped in cycling tradition from an early age, Mike is a multi-disciplinary racer having competed in duathlon, triathlon, cyclocross and road. His 2011 racing bike is the Raleigh SP Race (reviewed in Cycling Plus). His 2011 MTB was the world cup winning Merida 96 HFS 1000D (with upgrades!) but has sold it to Andy @ Rock and Run, so he now has a Merida 29er, 1000D, check out his blog on his first few rides. For this years cyclocross season he is back on his Ridley with custom wheels hand built in the workshop and loads of anodised bits!!. Mike spends his time between the workshop and the shop. Jenny Jenny rides the female specific Forme Finesse on road. On the trails she was riding a Merida Trans-mission Trail 3000 but for the winter 2011/2012 she will be on the 2011 Specialized Myka Elite and also trying out the Specialized Jet 29er. Cal Cal is into trials riding and is now riding the DMR Reptoid after having had a Diamondback Effect for the last year as ridden by trials legend Martyn Ashton ('The Radar Roadie') Cal can be seen on a regular basis hanging out at the 'Aviemore Jumps' or the 'rocks in town.' Cal added the Diamondback NNY BMX to his fleet earlier in the year but has recently sold it and replaced it with an MTB - Saracen Zen One. Sally Sally can be regulary spotted on the road on her Merida Juliet Road Race and up high burnside and the other local trails on a Saracen Zen One. Bruce (Saturday boy) Onza Trials Bike - look out for him in Nethy...... Dom (very very part time helper) Long life road and mountain biker, has numerous bikes in his and his family's fleet including a Specialized Camber, UMF Hardy & Diamondback Response Sport..... Dougie (retired again!!!) On the roads he rides a Raleigh Carbon Race that distinguishes itself from other high end road bikes by never ever being clean, he also owns a Specialized.
