Bike Hire 2025…have an adventure!
We are delighted to offer Bike Hire from Aviemore Village Centre, we have a large car park at the shop so you can leave the car and head straight out to the trails! We can advise you on great local routes that start from the shop door or for inspiration check out our Routes page.

Electric Hybrid Bikes – Perfect for gravel trails and smooth paths, these bikes will cover up to 30 miles and are also equipped with comfortable seats. You can take these bikes on the Speyside Way, Old Logging Way, Loch Morlich and Loch an Eilien Trail. We have a mixture of low step frames (ideal for less confident riders) and standard frames. Please specify what you would prefer when booking. Prices from £45.
Electric Mountain Bikes – These are hardtail Mountain Bikes equipped with front suspension, 625 WH Batteries, and 1 x Drivetrains they are ideal for routes such as the Burma Road, Ryvoan Bothy Route, Glenfeshie and most forest routes around Aviemore. Prices from £60.
Mountain Bikes – non electric hardtail mountain bikes, ideal for routes such as the Burma Road, Ryvoan Bothy Route, Glenfeshie and most forest routes around Aviemore. These bikes can also be hired for the Cairngorms Loop outer loop or 360 loop. Prices from £25.
Bronze Level Mountain Bikes and childrens bikes – these are our cheaper range of hardtail mountain bikes, these bikes can be up to three seasons old and may show signs of wear and tear but are still great for leisure riding around Aviemore on gravel paths and smooth trails. Prices from £22.50
Gravel Bikes – we hire Genesis Fugio gravel bikes ideal for chunky gravel that can be found here in the Cairngorms. These bikes can also be hired for the Cairngorms 360 Loop, the Ryvoan Loop and Loops in Glenfeshie. (gravel bikes have road bike style handlebars). Prices from £30.00
All bike hire comes with free helmets, lock and basic repair kit to keep you rolling. We do not hire childrens seats, trailers or racks. and please note none of our bikes can be or should be used on the Cairngorm Mountain Bike Park.
When can I hire?
We offer bike hire Tuesdays – Saturdays from 1030am daily throughout the season, although we are closed on Sundays and Mondays bikes can be rented from a Saturday until a Tuesday if required. You can enquire using the form below or feel free to take a chance and walk in and see if we have anything left.

Where can I collect the bikes?
Hire bikes can be collected and ridden straight from our shop door in Aviemore Village, with free parking at the shop. Alternatively delivery around Badenoch and Strathspey can be accomdated at an additional cost, when booked in advance. Please ask when booking and we can advise on availability of delivery.
